Baby Shark Is Back With A New Song to Teach Kids Proper Hand-Washing

Baby Shark is a hit with kids everywhere, and now its creator PinkFong is doing its part to help teach your kids how to practice proper personal hygiene—from handwashing to covering your coughs and sneezes. The coronavirus-inspired version of the hit song is titled, “Wash Your Hands,” and we have to admit, it’s pretty fantastic. (Apologies in advance, parents!)

The video, which was released on March 21, already has over 4 million views and 31,000 likes. The song, which follows the same tune as Baby Shark, repeats step-by-step lyrics to help kids remember how to wash their hands. At one point the animated shark sings, “Grab some soap, doo doo doo doo doo” and then “rub your hands, doo doo doo doo doo” followed by “rinse your hands, doo doo doo doo doo.”
