Bindi Irwin is in her third trimester and looking forward to welcoming baby soon! But there was one photo op she didn’t want to miss during pregnancy—recreating a sweet maternity photo her parents took 17 years ago.
In the photo, Bindi’s mom, Terri Irwin, is pregnant with her little brother, Robert, now 17. She’s standing with a bare bump, while the late Steve Irwin is giving it a kiss. Bindi Irwin recreated the photo with her husband, Chandler Powell and recently posted it to her Instagram.
“Recreating a very special moment. Third trimester love,” wrote in the caption of her post of the photos.
The couple, who wed in March 2020, first announced the pregnancy in August of last year. They’ve been giving fans updates along the way and revealed they’re having a baby girl in September 2020.
