On Wednesday, a 21-year-old man in Newcastle went for a run before stopping to eat a kebab and according to Western Australia Premier Mark McGowan, that’s undoubtedly one of the funniest things that has happened this year.
During a press conference on Friday, the WA Premier was taking questions on the coronavirus pandemic when a reporter asked for his thoughts on the man in NSW who was fined for eating a kebab after going for a run.
“I find it hard to believe someone was going for a run and then stopped for a kebab,” McGowan began, chuckling at the very concept.
“They do things very differently in NSW,” he continued to giggle.
“There’s nothing wrong with going for a run… and having a kebab but…I don’t think there’s anything wrong with…we’re not making it unlawful to go for a run and eat a kebab,” the Premier said in hysterics.
